xserver-xorg-core 2:1.11.0-1 vs nvidia-graphics-drivers 285.03-2 の続報。何やら怪しげな、中身は 275.28 と主張するヴァージョン番号の nvidia-graphics-drivers が出てきた。入れてみたけど、表示が乱れるどころか kernel ごと持っていかれることが頻発してまるで使い物にならない。結局、xserver-xorg-core 2:1.10.4-1 と nvidia-graphics-drivers 280.13-5 に戻す。

xserver-xorg-core 2:1.11.0-1 が変なのではなくて、nvidia-graphics-drivers 285.03-2 を IgnoreABI して使ったのがよくないみたい。

Indeed there is a transparency bug in many menus but nothing that makes it really hard to use. On the menu that do not work correctly (didn’t find a patern yet) fonts are looking ugly unless you move the pointer on it.

Also with ignoreABI, my xfce is doing strange renderings on the desktop. So i have x downgraded to 1.10.4 and will wait for a driver, which is supporting 1.11.

xserver-xorg-core 2:1.11.0-1 で nvidia-graphics-drivers を使うなら、ABI 変更に追従したものを待つ必要があるらしい。 疑ってごめん。> xserver-xorg-core 2:1.11.0-1
